Can I put a batting cage in my yard?Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have a batting cage in my back yard. Was this directly related to being drafted out of high school? No, I don't think so. But it was a great way to spend time with my dad and brothers. Some Home Owners Associations have covenants and restrictions that do not allow a batting cage in your backyard. There are ways to install a batting cage "temporarily" if you are set on having one. But you should weigh your neighbors reaction and relationship to your decision. Not all batting cage nets are created equally. Choosing the right batting cage depends on budget, usage and climate. Batting cages range in price from $400 to over $5,000 the price is driven by material used in construction and the amount of site preparation needed to construct the batting cage.

Where do I go to get baseball field equipment?Information on baseball equipment and especially field equipment is sometimes difficult to come by. You typically will not be able to run down to your local sporting goods store and pick up a field drag, an L-screen or a pro back stop. This back stop from Burbank Sports Nets is around $3300 from Burbank Sports Nets. Check out Burbank Sports Nets' inventory of hard to find field equipment.
